CMS Single Element Injector Manufacturing Test

This was a single element of the injector, designed and 3D printed as a test for post-machining the full scale one. The Injector is made of 2 parts, the main body and the faceplate. The manifold was 3D printed from 316 stainless steel and the faceplate from C18150 copper. The faceplate is then press fit into the main body. Then, an inconel pin is used with a hydraulic press to flare each element of the main body to the faceplate.
